Our Islamic education advisors

Feetra’s Islamic education advisors check every ayah, hadith, dua and recording before a family sees it. Each area of the syllabus has one ustaz responsible for it, and every card in the portal shows Disemak oleh with the name of the advisor who signed it off. This page explains who they are, what each one checks and how a lesson moves from draft to approved.

Why Feetra works with Islamic education advisors

Parents teach what they are given. If a hadith number is wrong, a grading is weak or a pronunciation is off, the mistake travels into the home and is repeated every day. Hearing, sight and heart will all be questioned (Al-Isra 17:36), so we would rather publish less than publish something unchecked.

That is why the Islamic homeschool syllabus is split into areas, and each area has its own advisor. Our sources are the Qur’an and hadith graded sahih or hasan; there are no weak hadith for duas or acts of worship, and never anything fabricated. The advisors hold the portal to that standard. Content written by the Feetra team stays hidden from families until it is approved.

The Islamic education advisors and what each one signs off

One area, one ustaz

Every area has a single person responsible, so it is always clear who checked what. If a family has a question about a card, the Disemak oleh line tells us who to ask.

Ustaz Abdul Muein, Islamic education advisor for tadabbur

Ustaz Abdul Muein, tadabbur

Signs off the LIGHT track, the meaning of each anchor ayah at every stage, the tafsir sources parents read, and the tafsir behind the LUQMAN method and the other parent and child ayat. He also approves the compulsory hifz list and stage targets.

Sad 38:29

Ustaz Azlan Shah, Islamic education advisor for seerah

Ustaz Azlan Shah, seerah

Signs off the Seerah term and its sequence, the links to Bedtime Seerah, every report marked “seerah” because it comes from seerah books rather than hadith collections, the young companions’ stories, and the athar used in the parent track.

Al-Ahzab 33:21

Ustaz Usamah, Islamic education advisor for hadith

Ustaz Usamah, hadith

Signs off every hadith number and grading, the daily duas and their Arabic text, the solat track, and Feetra’s position on each category C item where scholars differ. He also confirms the Guarding the garden list and its evidence.

Bukhari 631

Ustaz Muhammad Faiz (Abu Mujahid), Islamic education advisor for tajwid

Ustaz Muhammad Faiz (Abu Mujahid), tajwid and pronunciation

Checks tajwid, pronunciation and hifz recitation content, and listens to every audio recording before it goes into the library. Recitation is checked by him, not by the portal alone.

Bukhari 5027

Khalif Murtaza Khan, reciter

Recites every dua, surah and solat recitation in the audio library, so children hear one clear, consistent voice at home. Each recording is checked by Ustaz Muhammad Faiz.

How a lesson moves from draft to Disemak oleh

Four steps for every card

The portal tracks each item through the same four states, and our Islamic education advisors hold the key to the last one. Families only ever see items that have reached it.

A stack of lesson cards with a green approved stamp beside them
1

Draft

The Feetra team writes the lesson, dua or card with its source book and number, and marks which area it belongs to.

2

With Ustaz

The item is sent to the advisor for that area, who checks the text, the meaning, the source and the grading.

3

Approved

The advisor signs it off, and the date of approval is recorded automatically.

4

Shown with their name

Only now does the item appear to families, with Disemak oleh and the advisor’s name on the card.

What our Islamic education advisors check on every card

A dua card or an ayah card carries more than the words. Each field below is part of the review, and our Islamic education advisors do not approve a card until every field is right.

A single dua card showing Arabic text, transliteration and a source line

Arabic text and rumi transliteration

Arabic is added only after it has been verified. The transliteration helps parents who are still learning to read.

Meaning in BM and English

The meaning is taken from recognised tafsir and shaped to each child’s stage, never guessed.

Al-Isra 17:36

Source, book and number

Every hadith shows its collection and number, so any parent can look it up.

Grading and grader

Sahih or hasan, and who graded it. Sayings of the companions and scholars’ advice are labelled as such, never as hadith.

Where scholars differ

Some acts of worship have more than one authentic form, and on some questions scholars differ, each with evidence. For these, Feetra teaches one position, set by our Islamic education advisors, and shows its evidence. Children also learn, with adab, that others follow other evidence, as the companions did (Bukhari 946).

Examples in the solat track include where the hands rest, the basmalah in loud prayers, moving the finger in tashahhud, and qunut at Subuh. Things with no basis found are left out quietly and never mocked. The four categories are explained on the method page.

Open items with the advisors now

Before the pilot, the advisors are working through the final checks on the syllabus draft: every hadith number, grading and Arabic text; Feetra’s position on each category C solat item; two commonly taught duas flagged for review; the tafsir and meaning by stage for every anchor ayah; the Seerah term sequence; and the tajwid of every audio recording.

All references are checked against sunnah.com or dorar.net before publication. If you have a question about how this works, the Islamic homeschooling FAQ may already answer it.

Questions parents ask about our Islamic education advisors

Families often want to know how to reach the advisors and what happens when something needs correcting.

Q

Can I ask an advisor a question?

Yes. Send your question through the pilot form or to the Feetra team, and we pass it to the advisor for that area. The Disemak oleh line on each card tells you whose area it is.

Q

What if I think a card has a mistake?

Tell us. We send the card back to the advisor for that area to check again, and correct it if needed. Getting it right matters more than getting it out quickly.

Q

Do the advisors check Bedtime Seerah too?

Ustaz Azlan Shah checks the Seerah term and its links to Bedtime Seerah, and every detail that comes from seerah books is marked so it can be checked.

Q

Will there be more advisors?

As new areas are added, such as more of the parent track or new language editions, each one will have an advisor responsible for it before anything is published.
